Excellence in Manufacturing

The reasons are simple.

Over the years there has been many a debate over OEM vs. third-party pump parts. Is it all about price? If a third party manufacturer can sell a part for less than OEM, why shouldn't customer take advantage of it?

Simple. Usually there are one or more reasons why that third-party manufacturer can sell for less. They may be using cheaper, less durable materials. The design of the part may be compromised in some small way that favors less expensive manufacturing. Or, the manufacturing process, itself, may be compromised.

Performance, compatibility, and long-term costs are the real issues. Inferior composition may cause the third-party part to fail sooner, costing the customer additional downtime. But that's only the beginning.

Incompatibility with adjoining components may arise from either improper fit or excessive wear. The resulting collateral damage may cost the customer many times over the price of the OEM part. And of course, labor and downtime costs increase proportionately. End result – unhappy customer.

Even if third-party parts look the same and save you money in the short term, they very well may cost you even more money in the long-term. Stay with the best, stay with Toyo Parts.
