Notes:

1 - Star Delta starting amps are approximately 1/3 DOL starting amps listed.

2- CLIX (Clixon/Circle Thermal Protector) This is a temperature and amperage sensitive switch mounted inside motor enclosure.  It is a normally closed switch that opens if

motor overheats or high current conditions exist.  This switch is wired internally in line with the windings and shuts the pump down when it opens.  As the switch cools it will

automatically reset and the pump wil restart.  (Does not replace the need for correctly sized starters and overoads.)

3 - MTP (Miniature Thermal Protector) On higher HP pumps there are 3 MTP's installed, one in each winding. The MTP is a normally closed temperature activated switch that

opens if the motor overheats.  The two control wires in the electric cable should be connected to a contract protection relay (not supplied) to trip a warning alarm or motor

shutdown (does not replace the need for correctly sized starters and overloads).  MTP contact rating is 13A @ 230VAC or 5.5A @ 460 VAC.

4 - 60 to 150 HP Pumps  The standard cable on these models has multiple conductors to access sensor information and is only stocked in 50ft lengths.  If longer cables are

required order pump with SHD cable option (see TED 362 for specifications) or order pump with sensors deleted.
